Being a new business owner coming from a Corporate Environment without direct sales experience put me at a disadvantage in getting our new Franchise up and running. Luckily, I met Gary Kurtis who owns SalesTips101 through a Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce event.Gary and I met a few times and discussed the types services we provide. Gary also suggested a tour of our facility in King of Prussia, PA to see how our business operates. After these meetings, Gary was able to quickly and efficiently gain an understanding of the services we offer and the types of customers we are trying to reach. Gary then took this understanding and summarized the challenges I was facing as it relates to the sales process and provided various recommendations to overcome these challenges. Gary & I met again to review the professionally prepared slide deck that was also sent to me electronically. The summary included many proven sales “tips” that Gary had successfully utilized over his many years of direct selling. I have already implemented some of the tactics Gary described regarding handling objections with a perspective client. His summary explained how objections come up and included various ways to overcome these types of objections to enable a potential customer to want to move forward and sign up for services.

I’m very thankful to Gary for providing his valuable insight as well as some very useful external resources and I fully expect that following Gary’s recommendations will help me to become more successful with my sales process and ultimately lead to signing long term customers to use our services.
